Packaging

Carton is the standard. If the cases ship to your own customers or to branch staff, the packaging can be tailored so the unboxing matches the brand.

Where a deployment needs both drop protection and a fixed rigid mounting, the usual answer is a silicone case on the terminal and a separate rigid base — not one part trying to do both.

When a Silicone Case Fits — and When It Doesn't

Being clear about the limits saves a tooling cycle. A custom silicone case is a good fit when:

  • the terminal is handled, carried or set down roughly on a daily basis;
  • the device needs to stay recognizable — the keypad, card slot and printer must remain usable;
  • the case carries branding, so color and logo matter as much as protection;
  • the same model is deployed across many sites and needs one consistent accessory.

It is not the right answer when:

  • the deployment needs protection from sustained industrial impact or crush, where a rigid housing performs better;
  • the terminal has to be opened frequently for battery or paper replacement, because a full-body case adds a removal step;
  • the requirement is optical clarity, since silicone is not a transparent material;
  • the order quantity is a few pieces — a bespoke case is a molded part and the tooling has to be justified by volume.

Logo Printing and Branding

Logo placement is decided from the terminal model and the case geometry, so the print lands on a surface that stays visible once the terminal is in its stand. Screen printing is the standard method and holds its edge through normal handling and cleaning.
